Further Education Colleges: £1500
Kent Adult Education Service: £1500
Medway Adult Education Service: £500
Universities / Colleges of Higher Education: £1500
Workers Educational Association: £200
County / Unitary Authorities: Grant Support for OCNKM

Voluntary Sector

Small Charities, Voluntary Organisations etc.: £50 (negotiable for very small groups)
National Charities, Larger Organisations: £200

Private/Public Sector Employers & Trainers

Large Organisation (200 plus employees): £1000
Medium Organisation (50 - 199 employees): £500
Small Organisation (up to 50 employees): £250

Please note that organisations may seek to negotiate individual membership fee relating to particular circumstances, subject to approval by the Board of Trustees.

Overview of the Application Process

Organisation contacts OCNKM and receives initial advice re application.

Organisation completes Application Form and returns to the Director at OCNKM.

Director of OCNKM will review the application request additional information if necessary and make a recommendation regarding the application to the Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees will review the application at their next scheduled meeting and one of the following outcomes will apply:

  • Accept the applicationAccept the application. Conditional upon certain stated conditions being met
  • Seek further information and delay a decision until their next meeting
  • Reject the application

The OCNKM Director will write to the applying organisation within one week of the Trustee meeting informing them of the outcome. Where conditions or further information are requested the Director will work with the applicant to try and successfully complete the process.

Organisations becoming full members subsequently wishing to offer accredited programmes must go through the Centre Approval process.
