Assessment

The OCN is developing detailed guidelines for assessors within centres. Included on this page are the latest versions of guidelines and policy documents which we hope will be of help to all centres using OCNKM's accreditation.

• Assessment Guidelines (Draft)- contains description of the key principles for assessment and practical information relating to the implementation of assessment for centres.
• Evidence of Learner Achievement in OCN Accreditation - a guidance document containing information about the types of evidence that OCN learners might gather as evidence with some guidelines on the use and usefulness of evidence.

OCN Assessment - Developments

• An NOCN Assessors Award will also be available - further details will be posted here!
• New QCA approved NOCN Qualifications will have an additional final, externally set and moderated assessment. Learners will have to achieve this in order to gain the NOCN Qualification.
• OCNKM will be developing further advice for centres regarding assessment during the academic year 2001-02.
